Background:

My name is Kamaram Bhargavi, and I come from Hanwada in Mahabubnagar. My family consists of seven members. My father is a house constructer by profession, but work is not available every day in the village. Due to our financial situation, we often do not experience happiness. The day to day life is very tough and struggles to manage a large family of seven. We live in utmost poverty and joy is way far of our sight and being able to pass days is only inevitable.

We don’t have any land, and there is no other source of income. However, I have many dreams in my life, my father could not afford for a quality higher education. I remained determined to continue my studies , with lot of difficulties I could complete from schooling from village Government School and managed complete my Intermediate in a Government College near to my village.. I completed my education in government high schools,

After completing my intermediate education, I have been looking for sustainable earning opportunities to change my life. My education and skill gap is not giving my good job opportunity. Despite my parents’ hard work, our family has always struggled to get by. I have always wanted to help my parents during these difficult times, but I felt helpless due to my lack of skills and opportunities. My family financial need forced me to do some job for living, I had started working as a daily wage labourer to support my family. I always feel the I am so unfortune for my poor skills, I could not get a proper job, and job opportunities were scarce. The education in the government schools had affected my communication skills.

One day, a mobilization camp was conducted in my village, announcing about the 100 Days Later program and calling all the unemployed to gather at Grampanchayath office to register. I had attended mobilization camp, there I had learned more about the initiative and the vision of Ms. Pratinya. The courses are for free and we were promised to provide free transportation facility and food. I could convince my family without any difficulty to attend the training. I had visited the training facility in Mahabubnagar and after interactions with counsellor I had immediately enrolled in the General Duty Assistant course, The counsellor suggestions seemed perfect for me. The course curriculum covered crucial aspects of day-to-day healthcare responsibilities, such as patient bathing, grooming, meal support, infection control, and accurate measurement of vital signs. I had successfully completed my 100 Days of training. As promised by the 100 Days Later Foundation, the companies started conducing job fairs in our skill centre. We were trained well to attend interviews and the trainings offered us required skills to express my self confidently. The trainings offered through the 100 Days Later initiative by the 100 Days Later Foundation, with support from the Cyient Foundation are gamechanger in my life.

Before joining this program, I don’t have any clue in where my life takes me to now those days of uncertainty has gone. I extend my gratitude to Ms. Pratinya and her family for facilitating this training program. This opportunity has transformed my life and given me hope for a better future.
