Hello, my name is T. Maheswari. My father’s name is Chennai, and I am from Wanaparthy Mahabubnagar district. My family consists of five members. My family has financial constraints that has not provided us a quality education. I had completed my schooling and intermediate in government schools. Later with all the difficulties I managed complete my graduation at MVS Degree College, Mahabubnagar. The financial conditions, not allowed me continue further studies, My father, who earned very little and had no regular work, left us with a significant financial burden. I was unable to pursue postgraduate studies and seeking for some jobs to support my family financially.
I had a dream of working in a reputed company, but my dreams seemed like a nightmare. I was unaware of how to face interviews and succeed in other professional activities. Recognizing that my skills were insufficient for securing a job, I decided to pursue additional skill courses. However, my parents could not afford any training for me, most of the skill training institutes are charging high fee and no assurance of jobs. I believed it was my fate, but my desperation to contribute family earning with a good job is still in my belly.
In addition to the difficulties, my mother’s health condition has put more financial stress and situations further worsen as we had spent much money on her medical expenses. I continue be at home and support my family in day-to-day work. Life seeming too difficult to live and praying for something to happen good in life. There the blessing has come, and I found a light in the darkness: the 100-day’s later initiative women empowerment program. I had learned about Ms. Pratinya and her initiative from my MVS Degree College friends, they were in all praise for Ms. Pratinya and the 100 Days of training program with very good job assurance. Most happiest part of the initiative is, the trainings are sponsored by 100 Days Later Foundation and Cyient Foundation without charging any money from the trainees. This is the real blessing for me, the food and transportation has taken care by the foundations. I had visited the centre and had very comfortable interaction with the counsellor. After due evaluation of skill and qualification, I was suggested to take back-office support non voice which is customer care. I had enrolled for the training and started attending the training regularly.
During the training, I learned many things, such as identifying my strengths and weaknesses and how to overcome them, professional work ethics, and communication skills. Through group discussions, I overcame my fear and improved my speaking skills. Those were the most fantastic days I ever experienced. Officials from the 100 Days Later Foundation and Cyient Foundation visited our college along with Ms. Pratinya. She is so humble and very pretty girl with a tender voice. We all are so inspired with her attitude and the desire of helping us.
During the training, I focused intensely on acquiring the necessary skills to clear interviews. I am deeply grateful for the peaceful and happy life we are living today, made possible by the women empowerment program. I especially want to thank Ms. Pratinya and her family, who encouraged me and helped dispel my fears. I have no words to fully express my gratitude to them. The way she cares for women is admirable. She is an inspiration to those affected by hardships.
