Am determined to be self-made

Background:

“If we wait until we’re ready, we’ll be waiting for the rest of our lives….” I was fortunate enough to choose not to wait too long in making the best decision that would change my life forever. My name is Anugamoni Rajeshwari, born into a family that consists of my father, mother, brother, and sister, residing in Rampur, Mahabubnagar. After completing my graduation, I had no clear plans about which path to choose next. It was then that I came across an interesting title 100 Days Later Initiative of 100 Days Later Foundation pamphlet wrapped in the newspaper.

I was curious to know more about the scheme and reached out to mobilization team. My father took me to skill centre and had a decent interaction with the counsellors and learned about program in detail. To my interest the trainings are free, and the courses will be offered on the market demand skills. The counsellors had done an evaluation and suggested Electronics and Soldering training course. My family is very happy to send for the training as the programs is assuring job after 100 Days of free training, during the training the foundation will provide required support for transport and food facility.

I had decided to enrol in the course, and I was so impressed with the way the 100 Days Later Foundation team clarified all my doubts and promised me a better career through this program. I had joined in the second batch of the Training Program. The classes were excellent, informative, and more motivational than expected. All the trainees including me are fascinated to see Ms. Pratinya who sponsored our trainings, and it was dream come true interactions with very noble person Shri BVR Mohan Reddy Garu. At the end of the course, we were taken for interviews, and I was selected as an Assembling Operator at Schneider Electric with a salary of Rs. 15,000. My family and I are very happy about this great opportunity. I am confident that this job will provide me with a better life and reputation.

I am indeed happy to work in a field where women’s participation is rare, and I have achieved this level of confidence because I got the opportunity to be a part of the 100 Days Later Initiative. Thanks to the Almighty for everything I have received. My heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Pratinya and her family for their wonderful support, and we are now happy that this happened thanks to the Cyient Foundation.
