We must take that first step towards freedom in all senses of the word, which is exactly what Vaidya Vaishali did. Coming from a hardworking but financially constrained family of 13, Vaishali witnessed her parents’ struggle to provide basic amenities for the entire family. Vaidya Vaishali’s father is low wage worker close to their village and earnings for the family. Her fathers battle for family’s survival was further impacted due to his health condition. Their finances were deeply strained when her father developed a cardiac condition and had to undergo a complicated surgery. The whole family need to come together to brave these hard times and emerge stronger.
Vaidya is also desperate to contribute her bit to support the family in these hard times and her efforts were in vain due to lack of job opportunities for the skills she possessed. After finishing her intermediate studies, Vaishali was looking for a job opportunity and no success. She had sensed the urgency of getting market relevant skill and at the same time Vaidya through overhearing a few neighbourhood boys brought her to the Women Empowerment Program supported by the Cyient Foundation at the Training Centre in Mettugadda, Mahbubnagar and this has come in the hour of need. The courses offered by 100 Days Later Foundation are relevant to the market and industry. Vaidya visited 100 Days Later Foundation and Cyient Foundation operating Skill Centre in Mahabubnagar and had interacted with counsellors. She was rightly guided by the counsellors to join the General Duty Assistance Course offered by the Foundations.
Vaidya’s decision of joining the 100 Days training has changed her life, the competition in the job market doesn’t faze her as she confidently takes measured steps towards a remarkable career, focusing on acquiring the skills in Nursing domains to prepare for the future. After all, she believes that women are second to none and all they need is an opportunity that has come from Ms. Pratinya and her foundation to prove themselves. Vaishali is the kind of person who will grab the opportunities rather than waiting for easy luck. After completing the training successfully selected as bedside patient assistant in Medicovers Hospital. Vaishali is proud to say this training changed her life and to take on any challenges in any situation. Vaishali family members are happy now and she is supporting her family and caring my siblings.
