My name is Dolu Sirisha, I am from a very small village from the Mahabubnagar District in Telangana, exemplifies the spirit of determination and self-reliance. Unlike many who might boast of their accomplishments, Sirisha believes in letting her hard work speak volumes. Growing up in a family of three, she harboured a deep-seated desire to carve out her own path and showcase her potential.
Her pivotal opportunity came during her intermediate studies when she discovered the Foundation’s unique initiative “100 Days Later”, the initiative is lead by Mr. Pratinya that had offered various market revelent skill development training courses, at her college. This discovery ignited a spark in her, especially given her firm belief in gender equality and her conviction that women are capable of excelling in any field. This belief led her to enrol in the Electronics and Soldering Course, a field has more men workforce and is traditionally dominated by men. Neither societal norms nor stereotypes deterred her from pursuing this unconventional path as the immense motivation from Ms. Pratinya and the foundations along with the supportive family.
As she immersed herself in the training, Sirisha’s self-confidence blossomed. The course provided comprehensive technical training essential for her future job, but it also offered something even more transformative: soft skills and communication training. Public speaking, which had always been her Achilles’ heel, soon became a strength. Through persistent effort and support, she overcame this challenge, further boosting her self-assurance.
Upon completing her 100 Days of successful training, Sirisha was put to interviews and hired as an Electronics Productor at Zen Technologies in Tukkuguda, Hyderabad, as an Electronics productid. This position was more than just a job; it was a testament to her hard work and resilience. Her satisfaction stems not only from financial security but also from the fulfilment of working in a field she is passionate about.
As on today, she stood on her feet and supporting her family and providing all the necessities. She keeps talking about Ms. Pratinya for her thought for the unemployed rural girls given her life and support to her dependents.
