Let me introduce myself, I am name is Kursali Keerthi, and I am from Tankara, Hanuwada in Mahabubnagar district. My family consists of six members. My father sold land for my sister’s marriage, and from there, my life took another turn. We became financially dependent, and due to our financial condition, my dream of working in a reputed company seemed like an impossible and unachievable.
My father, who earned very little and had no regular work, left us with a significant financial burden. Recognizing that my skills were insufficient for securing a job, I decided to pursue additional skill courses. However, my parents could not afford any training for me. I believed it was my fate, but my dream was to get a job and support my parents.
Inspite of the persistent financial burden and problems, I have managed to study upto Degree. One a day a group of officials from 100 Days Later Foundation and Ms. Pratinya had visited our college and explained their training programs and the benefits they offered.
We all were thrilled to see an young girl of 15 years old talking about women empowerment and her vision of making unemployed girls to live on their own and make them self-reliant. We were briefed about 100 Days of training on 3 training modules, to my interest and with guidance from the counsellor, I had enrolled in the Customer Care Executive course.
During the training, I learned many things like SWOT analysis, professional work ethics, and communication skills. Through group discussions, I overcame my fear and improved my speaking skills. Before my training, I was unaware of how to face interviews and succeed in interview, Ms.Pratinya has conducted resume building and interview preparation techniques. This was so motivating, all the girls in our batch used to speak about the girl and her sacrifices during her summer vocation.
Those were the most fantastic days I ever experienced. During the training, I focused intensely on acquiring the necessary skills to clear interviews. I am deeply grateful for the peaceful and happy life we are living today, made possible by the women empowerment program. Sincerely our family had deepest gratitude for Ms. Pratinya and the foundations sponsored these trainings and made us independent.
