My name is Gopala Ravali, and I am from Mahabubnagar. Our family consists of five members, and we all depend on my father’s earnings. Due to our poor situation, we are unable to live a happy life and are under the BPL (Below Poverty Line). We rely on government schemes to survive in society. Despite many struggles, I completed intermediate with passing marks. Given my family’s situation, I used to do daily wage work, but it was not enough to meet our expenses. Throughout these hardships, I often wished to help my parents, but I was unable to do so.
Then, a blessing came into my life in the form of 100 Days Later Initiative from Ms. Pratinya and her foundations. The Women Empowerment Training Programme, offered through the 100 Days Later initiative by the 100 Days Later Foundation, with support from the Cyient Foundation. This Women Empowerment program at the Cyient Foundation encouraged me to join as well.
Now, both my sister and I are earning together and supporting our parents, who are much more relaxed and less burdened by financial stress. Before this opportunity, I experienced very dark days in my life. Despite the advice and support from well-wishers regarding job opportunities, I personally tried many places to secure employment but failed everywhere due to my lack of skills.
This program has illuminated my path, providing me with the necessary skills and confidence. Now, I am proud to be one of the beneficiaries of the 100 Days Foundation, as this program has transformed my life and given me the means to support my family. Finally, I was selected by a reputed company, and my life is now filled with happiness. I am earning my own money and am not depending on anybody. I sincerely extend my gratitude to Ms. Pratinya and Cyient team.
