Background:

My name is Yerukali Girija, and I come from a small village called Devarakadra in Mahabubnagar District. I grew up in a financially struggling family, where my father worked as a daily wage labourer. It was very difficult for him to support our family of four members. My father earnings are not sufficient for providing quality education. Day by day the earnings are getting lean and the financial problems to creep up. Due to the struggles in my family , I could not continue my education. I managed to complete my Intermediate second year. Despite my dreams for higher education, I restricted to plus two, our economic situation forced me stay at home and support my family financial need.

I was looking for a stable income with the limited skills I acquired and the qualification I had it was so hard. My search for jobs were in vain, the search for employment immediately after completing my intermediate studies had come to almost a halt.  Finding a job with my limited qualifications was challenging until I attended a mobilization camp organized by the 100 Days Later Foundation in our village. During the mobilization drive I had come to know about 100 Days Later Initiative of Ms. Pratinya and her foundations work in making women empowered through the 100 Days of skill development initiative.

Intrigued by the opportunities, I registered for their skill development program and chose the Electronics and Soldering course. The comprehensive training provided by the faculty in 100 Days Later Initiative was a turning point in my life. It boosted my confidence and equipped me with valuable skills.

The motivational sessions were particularly inspiring, helping me realize my potential. After completing the 100 days of training, I was issued a certificate and started preparing me for attending interviews for Electronic Manufacturing companies. I was thrilled to be placed at a reputed company in Hyderabad with a starting salary of Rs. 15,000/-. Six months into my role in electronics production, I have observed significant improvements in my personal and professional life. I am now the primary breadwinner of my family, and we have overcome our financial struggles.

The 100 Days of Later of Initiative of Ms. Pratinya has not only provided me with a job but has also transformed my life. I strongly recommend it to others seeking a path to a brighter future. Many thanks to the foundations behind the initiative and the support extended by sponsors.
